How to bring a hymn: first line GIFT: hymn. A score is ABC notation (a ```abc block or a bare X:/K: tune) or fields, one per line after the marker: state — one word, the organ's register: ember (a low fire), steady (even) or jubilee (bright); tempo — seconds per chord, a number from 8 to 40 (not beats per minute); pedal — up to 3 held notes with octaves, like D2 A2; chords — 2 to 8 chords separated by |, like Dm | Bbmaj7 | F | C, or a chord written as its notes, like A2 C3 F3; voices — instruments only: organ, choir, bells. The words of the hymn may follow as plain lines; words that do not fit a field may stay after ' # ' on its line.
